Trio basé à Besançon et composé de musiciens ayant écumé les scènes européennes dans notamment Gantz, Stellardrive, Asidefromaday ou encore Hiro, Féroces puise ses racines dans le post-rock par le caractère mélancolique de ses compositions, en y ajoutant des influences pop ou même new-wave afin d’apporter quelque chose de neuf au genre. Par l’introduction d’éléments cinématographiques, le message est véhiculé par d’autres : ce sont les acteurs qui parlent, de la nouvelle vague de Godard au cynisme de Chabrol. Dans Féroces, personne ne chante.
Le premier EP «
… Juliette » est disponible en format numérique sur toutes les plateformes (Spotify, Deezer, iTunes), et sortira en septembre 2016 en version vinyle sur Impure Muzik (Besançon), Desertions Rcs (Toulon), Uproar for Veneration (Lille) et Dingleberry Rcs (Giessen / Allemagne).
L’enregistrement, le mixage et le mastering ont été réalisés par Sébastien Descamps et Yann Morel au Cube Studio.
L’artwork du disque a été créé par Floriane Miny, d’après une photo de Anna Karina tirée de « Une femme est une femme » de Jean-Luc Godard.

Féroces, a trio based in Besançon, made up of experienced musicians from the european music scene, in groups such as Gantz, Stellardrive, Asidefromaday and Hiro, draws from the post-rock genre with compositions of melancholic nature, adding a touch of pop and new wave to make it their own. The message is conveyed by others through the use of cinematographic elements : from Goddard’s Nouvelle Vague to Chabrol’s cynicism, the actors are the narrators. There are no singers in Féroces.
« Juliette », the first EP, is available digitally on all platforms (Spotify, Deezer, iTunes). The vinyl will be released in September 2016 on Impure Muzik (Besançon), Desertions Rcs (Toulon), Uproar for Veneration (Lille) et Dingleberry Rcs (Giessen / Germany).
Recording, mixing and mastering were carried out by Sébastien Descamps and Yann Morel at Cube Studio.
CD artwork was designed by Floriane Miny, using the Anna Karina photo from « Une femme est une femme » by Jean-Luc Goddard.
